Hi All,
thanks to Kathy, for this nice review. We appreciate it.
Here is an excerpt, “This nine-song debut presents a harmonious array of effer-
vescence, a blissed-out cross between vintage shoegaze and contemporary alt-country. Accordingly, the band cites Ride, Slowdive, the Cowboy Junkies, and Mazzy Star among their in-
fluences. Extra credit for Megan Bailey’s artfully-designed, eco-friendly packaging using recycled stock and vegetable-based inks.”

I have been meaning to write show reviews for the multitude of amazing shows that have been going down, here are some highlights:
Marty Wilson Piper and Mood Maidens at the Tractor. One of the many great things about the Tractor is that you can get a pitcher of Nightwatch. Last time that Brian and I saw Marty at the Tractor, we think 8 years ago, we had more than one pitcher of nightwatch, This time we were much better behaved. Marty’s show was fantastic and it is certainly brilliant of him to have 3 talented and beautiful ladies singing and playing various instruments with him. I highly recommend his new CD Night Jar, it is his best solo effort.
A couple nights later I got to see one of my favortie bands, Blue Skies For Black Hearts, play at a “nuggets tribute night” in the lovely town of Portland. BSFBH are totally amazing at all times, and I am seriously considering taking the train down for their CD release show on May 30th. Their new album, “Serenades and Hand Grenades” is composed of great song after great song. They are similar to Elvis Costello and the Attractions for those of you that wont just take my word for it and buy their CD without knowing anything about them. They are also REALLY nice.
Recently I saw the Radar Brothers at the Sunset here in Seattle. This was the second time I got to see them, and they were really amazing again. It is tragic that they are not one of the most successful bands in the world.
